Organized by the Edgar Degas Foundation and the Louisiana State Museum, this traveling exhibition focuses on Degas' time in New Orleans and the events that led to the First Impressionist Exhibition of 1874.The exhibit includes reproductions from Degas' famous New Orleans collection; family photographs; original furnishings; and information about his life and work.
